This album marks Kylie's return to commercial pop, and this album in particular showcases a modern, disco sound. It's a wonderful pop album from start to finish! My only complaint is the song "Kids" which, isn't terrible, but I'm not a fan of the fact that it was performed on so many tours!

What an excellent album! I love the sound of this album, it's very lounge-y. Tracks like "Confide In Me," "Where Is The Feeling?," and "Where Has The Love Gone?" have a very bold and erotic sound. Kylie really shows off her vocal range on "Confide In Me" -- especially when she performs it live. I loooooove the music video for "Put Yourself In My Place," it's an awesome to see Kylie as Queen of the Galaxy, Barbarella! "Automatic Love" is an amazing, smooth track, I especially like the acoustic version released later on Hits+. I just love the album as a whole, it's a wonderful transition from Let's Get To It to Impossible Princess.
