This album is pretty good, I'm kind of half-and-half on it; I mean, it's a cute album, but I really only listen to the singles, they actually make up several of my favorite songs by her. "One Boy Girl" and "Things Can Only Get Better" are two other tracks I especially like.

Wow! What a bold direction Kylie took her music with this album. And with it she spawned my favorite album of her's, as far as meaning. The lyrics are fairly simple, but each track gives you a little insight into the mind of Miss Minogue, as each track is penned by her (the only album of her's where this is so). Tracks "Cowboy Style," "Some Kind Of Bliss," "Did It Again," and "I Don't Need Anyone" showcase a more bubbly side of Kylie, but the rest of the album goes out on a dark, electronic limb. Songs like "Too Far," "Breathe," "Say Hey," and "Limbo" are some of my favorite songs from her catalogue, and on this album. Where her other albums make me want to dance, this one makes me want to reflect. It's amazing.

04. Keep On Pumpin' It (November 1991 -- Song samples "I Guess I Like It Like That")

06. Finer Feelings (April 1992)

B-Sides:
01. Do You Dare?
02. Closer
03. Say The Word (I'll Be There)

This is somewhat of a landmark album for Kylie, the sound of the album being a lot more adult than her previous releases. The music on the album has a lot more R&B than previous releases, as well. I love all the singles, "Too Much Of A Good Thing" and "Right Here, Right Now" are two non-single tracks that stick out to me, although on "Too Much Of A Good Thing" I feel like Kylie's voice gets lost amongst all the other voices on the track. "Finer Feelings" has to be my favorite track from this album, and the video is stunning. I love the Paris setting, the black and white--perfection! All the b-sides are great too!

This album marks Kylie's return to commercial pop, and this album in particular showcases a modern, disco sound. It's a wonderful pop album from start to finish! My only complaint is the song "Kids" which, isn't terrible, but I'm not a fan of the fact that it was performed on so many tours!

What an excellent album! I love the sound of this album, it's very lounge-y. Tracks like "Confide In Me," "Where Is The Feeling?," and "Where Has The Love Gone?" have a very bold and erotic sound. Kylie really shows off her vocal range on "Confide In Me" -- especially when she performs it live. I loooooove the music video for "Put Yourself In My Place," it's an awesome to see Kylie as Queen of the Galaxy, Barbarella! "Automatic Love" is an amazing, smooth track, I especially like the acoustic version released later on Hits+. I just love the album as a whole, it's a wonderful transition from Let's Get To It to Impossible Princess.

Song Of The Week - Say Hey (Project K Re-Edit)

Release Date: November 1997 (original version)
Album: Impossible Princess (original version)
One of my favorite tracks from Impossible Princess, it's dark and alluring, and the Project K remix of it adds to that.

Song Of The Week - Slow (Chemical Brothers Remix) *Sorry it's late!

Release Date: March 2004
Original Album: Body Language (original version); Red Blooded Woman (remix)
I wasn't much for this remix when I first heard it, but after hearing it performed on the Aphrodite World Tour I was smitten. It's awesome! Though it sounds so much better live! Enjoy!

Fan Art by Me!

This project started out as me messing around in Photo Shop, just seeing the different ways I could manipulate the colors and what not in a picture. And what came out of it was this collage:
I ended up liking what I had done so much that I decided to use it as the artwork for various remixes I have of her music on iTunes. So I made a logo that fit in with the artwork and put it together into this...
Here are the individual pictures and the logos from the artwork.
